Tig has quickly become a central focus point in our program. Most certainly a pivotal dog for us, guiding our legacy program forward. From her rich 'Old School' heritage, to her structure, cooperation, stamina and strength in the field, this girl has an inherit ability to surpass our expectations. During prairie hunts she settles into a comfortable 200 yard range. Guiding in thicker, more difficult cover she tightens her search up and usually keeps around 30-70 yards from us. Her ability to go between game species without skipping a beat makes her an incredible asset in the field both for guiding and my personal favorite, river bottom quail hunts. She is a true 'wild bird dog'. With a strong desire to work, with the mental stability to handle intense hunting situations, then with the ability to turn around later that evening and settle into our family's life, making her a true gem.
