This boy is an old soul. He is gentle with the grandkids and a sweet as honey in the house. He is super polite on leash and in his kennel. His on/off switch is huge. His is our pick form our Gauge X Brook litter and he is the perfect mix of his mom and dad. His build is conformationally sound and beautiful with long straight legs and a deep strong chest. He has a strong field drive, a great nose, and excellent retrieving skills. He strides out beautifully and covers a lot of ground methodically and efficiently. He works in the 80 to 120 yard range and regularly checks in. His point is powerful and stylish and very trustworthy. He is young and energetic but because of his genetics and working style he rarely misses. He did amazing with his first summer of training and owned his Natural Ability test with a perfect score of 112 PZ I. He is doing a great job steadying up on multiple bird flushes and is handling woah like a veteran. This is one of the happiest, sweetest dogs I have ever been around. He has a zeal for life and is willing to try whatever you ask him to. We look forward to his first full hunting season and his future achievements.
